Meet Kate McGee, a talented professional who joined State28 as Associate Director in 2020. With a Diploma in Interior Design and a wealth of experience in the design and construction industry, Kate brings a unique perspective to her role.

Having spent three years with one of Perth's leading building companies, Kate's journey took her to Sydney and Brisbane, where she excelled in business development for a premium wallpaper and fabric brand, working on major hotel projects. Returning to Perth in 2019, she continued her success this time with one of the city's renowned furniture brand houses, collaborating closely with design studios, project managers, builders, and leasing executives.

Kate’s leadership saw her rise to the role of Director alongside Miriam Terry, bringing together their shared vision and expertise to guide State28 towards even greater success. With Kate's analytical design eye and background, she keeps State28 at the forefront of innovation when it comes to specifying finishes, furniture, and other design products. In her diverse role, she enjoys working closely with the design team, fostering out-of-the-box thinking to bring our clients' design visions to life. With Kate's expertise and passion, State28 delivers exceptional design solutions.
